Dear Lloyd Family,

We were thrilled to reunite and visit with you last Summer while you were in the Allen area. I loved working with Cathy in Primary. She was gracious, smart, insightful, kindly humorous and a joy to be with. Of all your family members, we knew Cathy, Michael & Steven the most. Steven you were friends with our son, Mark. You were part of an active group of boys that made us laugh with your energy and antics.

When driving west on Bethany, I look at your red brick house and think of your family; it will always be the Lloyd House to me. I never realized all of Cathy's numerous talents. Knowing this helps me understand why I learned so much from her. With Cathy's influence, it's no wonder you all have done well.

Firstly I wish to send all my condolences to sister Cathy Lloyd's family. It's never easy to lose a loved one but when we have a Christ-centered view and the promise ur sealings offer us eternity life in the celestial Kingdom, we can be comforted in those promises bestowed upon us.

Cathy was my ministering teacher and she played her role as needed. She reached out to me and introduced herself to me at church which I appreciated. I have memories of her at church, and I value her for all the warm gestures through cards which she delivered to me even during Valentine's gave me a card with raspberries. We shall truly miss you Cathy!

Dear Bishop Lloyd and family,
Thank you for the link to see the funeral so we could reverently honor Cathy With You......
......... even amidst all the glitches of the sound feed, I could feel the spirit so much. I felt so grateful for your descriptions of Cathy ......... my oh my she was so very very Valiant, and so faithful to the end......and now beyond....
I felt so grateful to be a part of your sacred celebration of her, and i felt a huge Reverence settle over my home the whole time....... I feel quiet and introspective and and so very grateful to have known you and Cathy here, and have been blessed by your great glowing spirits, your testimonies, your leadership as a Bishop and wife here in Allen 3rd ward , and as our dear friends these last 28 years.
What a great soul Cathy was and is.
She was such a pure and sweet and deeply good and big hearted , and we and all the ward was blessed by her and by you too as our Bishop.
I feel honored to have been yalls friends now and always.
I feel so grateful for the strong testimony she had and you have of our Savior Redeemer. It has blessed my soul today and did the years yall lived here.
I am so grateful that you brought her recently to the funeral of Bishop Eliason and to Kelly McMurrys, and that we got to see you both there (we were there) and commune together and feel her glowing spirit. And I am so grateful you brought her to our Allen 3rd ward (your past ward of both of yall giving your heart and testimony and big efforts to us all ) and to our home... it was such a blessing for us to hear and see her great Example in the face of huge Trial, and it was a big blessing for her to see Allen and her home and ward where she had been and had blessed others so much in her life.
You were very inspired to do those things for her.

We pray for you and your family this day in your grieving and hurting and sorrow and your faith and bravery.

Of course my favorite memory of Cathy is her incredible part in our BYU Ward Relief Society presidency when we made Church history with our association- a converted Catholic president, a converted Jew 1st counselor, a converted black Baptist, and Cathy our very able secretary and a lifer she'd been a member all her life! I often thanked her for helping me to look good!

I met Cathy just this past March, and she was just the sweetest woman ever! I began praying for her as soon as Michael told me about her sickness. I only wish I had more of an opportunity to know Cathy more deeply. It seems we had many things in common. Please know that I will continue to pray for you Michael and for your dear family! God is your strength and He will carry you through this.

Cathy was always willing to help anyone who needed it. If there was ever a service project, you’d find Cathy and Michael Lloyd first there and last to leave. They helped me numerous times with my family history, so much so that I’m sure my family are all lining up to thank Cathy. We will miss Cathy greatly. She was a wonderful, and Christ focused woman.
