Chad Lloyd Mildon's Obituary
Chad passed away February 27, 2025, after a long hard fight with tongue cancer, with dad and mom by his side. Chad was born in El Paso, Texas on May 3, 1970, to Dennis and Nana Mae (Arnecke) Mildon. The family moved to Ogden, Utah in 1975. He attended Gramercy Elementary, Mount Fort Jr High and graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1988.
Chad was known by many as Boogie. He was given that name by his grandpa Arnecke when he was a small boy. It followed him throughout his life. He loved fishing and could catch fish anywhere. Boogie loved to roller blade the Ogden Parkway and cliff dive at Causey and Flaming Gorge while camping with family and friends.
Chad and his dad competed in many truck pulls held at the county fairgrounds. In 1986, his dad won 1st place overall, while Chad won 2nd place crew chief.
Chad is preceded in death by his mother, Nana Mae, grandparents, Barbara and Bob Whitaker, Dee and Helen Mildon, Ed and Marcia Arnecke.
Chad is survived by his dad, his second mom Nancy Mildon, brothers, Shon (Sarah) Mildon, Jim (Jodie) Gifford, sister Traci (Troy) Sato, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by all.
The family would like to thank the oncology team at McKay Hospital who were such a caring and supporting influence during Chad and Dad’s many visits. Val, Jackie, Dr Cassel, Dr Whipple and the girls at the front desks, and hospice Angels.
Chad’s memorial services will be held March 21, 2025, at Premier Funeral Home, 5335 S 1950 W, Roy, Utah from 6 pm to 8 pm.
