Charles "Charlie" Taggart Christensen's Obituary
Charles Taggart Christensen “Charlie”,73, of Bountiful, Utah, passed away on July 6th, 2026 at Utah Valley Hospital.
Born on March 30, 1953, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert and Ethel Taggart Christensen. Charlie graduated from Viewmont High School and went on to begin an apprenticeship for welding. He then had a successful career for Boilermaker-Blacksmith.
Charlie was known for his kindness, willingness to help, and fun spirit. He will always be remembered for his love of cutting trees and did so any chance he could. He also loved fireworks and was one of the times we could see his child like Wonder and enthusiasm. He would be constantly tinkering with things and trying to make them work better.
He is survived by his Wife of 20 years, Carmen Christensen; Brother Robert Christensen and Sister Norma (Martin) Blundell. Preceded in death by his parents, Sisters Karen Cushing, and Becky (Kay) Barlow.
A celebration of life will be held at the Bountiful cemetery on Friday July 17th at 11:00am.
Charlie's strength, spirit, and unwavering support of others will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
