Gerald J. Domingue, Ph.D.
Sincere condolences to all in the DeWitt family. I am saddened to know of the death of Charlie; he was a great friend. He was one of my professors at Tulane University and later when I joined the Tulane Medical School faculty, he was a colleague. I have fond memories of my association with him. He was a deep and critical thinker, had lots of originality as a resercher and was a consumate and well informed teacher. He had an infectious laugh and a much appreciated sense of humor. I am sure Charlie will be missed by all who knew and loved him. I also had the pleasure of getting to know Una and her always welcoming smile. May all of you continue to cherish the memory of Charlie and Una..
