Charles Ray Huffman's Obituary
Charles Ray Huffman, age 84, of South Jordan passed away on October 9, 2019. He was born on June 24, 1935 in Dublin, Texas to Louise Dorsey and James Huffman.
Charlie serve in the Korea from 1954 to 1955. He served a mission in Lebanon, Tennessee and in the Bolivia South America Mission. He also served as a Bishop of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Bloomfield, New Mexico.
On March 3, 2001 Charlie married Leona H Huffman in Spokane, Washington. He worked hard as the best darn Tire Salesman in town.
He is survived by his wife, Leona H Huffman; children, James Russen Huffman, Dridio, CA; Patricia (Chris) L. Salazar, Clifton, CO; Connie L. Huffman, Fresno, CA; Leona’s children, Belinda (Joe) Sharp, Kingman, AZ; Carl (Wendy) Waton, Coeur d’Alene, ID; Cavett (Karen) Eaton, West Jordan, UT; Pamela (Brian) Peterson, Menton, France; Dorian (Gabriel) Eaton, Mesa, AZ; 99 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Nora Sue Borders and his wife Nadine Huffman.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 1540 West 10400 South, South Jordan, Utah. Viewing will be from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the same location.
