Obituary for Charles Riddle
Charles Howard Riddle, born May 7, 1928, passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 24, 2025. Charles served in Army Communications at the end of WWII. After college, he went to work as an engineer for AT&T until his retirement. Charles was a beloved father and husband, who loved his family. He shared with them his love of camping and nature, and he was always an example of loyalty, hard work, and kindness. He is survived by his devoted wife, Nelly, his son Michael (Diena), and his daughters, Debbie Avati (Rick), Sharron Houdek (Rick), Lynda Riddle Curtis (Nate) and Sandra Riddle Lindsay (David). He is loved and missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rebecca, and his daughters, Christine and Diane. Also, by his parents and siblings.
