My Cousin Charline: She set such an example of love and caring for me as a child. One of the moments that sticks out in my mind is watching her and her husband loading their car to move from Oregon to Utah they were newly weds! Charline took care of me when I was a child and gave me lots of love! On one of my next visits in Utah when the girls were just babies I can remember thinking what a great mom she was, she was so completely devoted to her family! I was always impressed with her relationship with each girl! She knew these girls so well and understood what their needs were! She was also so caring always to me, she made me feel like I was an important part of her family! I knew as long as I had her and my Aunt vends (Charline’s mom) on my side I was safe and loved! A lot of people who knew her more serious side may not have known that she was really funny. She had a dry sense of humor and she could really make me laugh! But the sweetest memory I have of her is the way she understood people and was so understanding of their needs! She was always so understanding and non- judgemental of all people! I couldn’t have gotten through my childhood without her. The greatest gift she gave me was a relationship with her children and it remains one of the greatest blessings of my life! God will bless your eternities for all the good you did here and all the love you gave me sweet cousin, I shall miss you for the short time we are apart and look forward to our next meeting on the other side. Love your forever cousin Karen Roe Tryon, Nelda Browns daughter
