Chase-a-roni... my good friend, I drove past Raintree apartments today and couldn’t help but laugh and then get a little chocked up with so many memories of this incredible person. I first met chase when he moved to Riverton at maybe 11 or 12? I remember thinking that he was so lucky because he had a “Simpsons” pinball machine at his house, it was so fun to have sleepovers there! A few years later I remember helping install a lift on the Bronco with huge Super Swampers!! 39’s maybe? When he laid down his first street bike I fixed the gas tank and did a custom paint job with flames. My family and the Ostlers went to Lake Powell every year for over 20 something years, soooo many great memories there!!! Finding a huge tree up a canyon and towing it back to the house boat on the wave runner, wake boarding, exploring, sinking a boat, watching Chase accidentally drop his wedding ring in the lake, I could go on and on. Chase was always FULL of energy, when everyone else was tired from a long day at the lake he would be off on the Sea Doos or asking me to take him out on the Flyboard, he never stopped! College days were full of good times!! I helped design/draw his first tattoo of his initials, I was also there when he got a certain piercing and will never forget the sound he made when the needle went through! The polar bear plunge, roller blading, shooting bottle rockets at people in the hot tub from our balcony, again, the list goes on and on! It’s awful that he left this earth so early in life but I truly believe that he “LIVED” more in his short life than many people who live to be 90 ever will. Love you man!
