Chasity’s sweet nature never turned her bitter with the news of her advanced cancer, which eventually took her from us. Cancer is often described as a battle to be fought, but she was wise with her gentle nature, so she negotiated time instead. In her words, it gave her time to: reflect on lessons learned; appreciate and focus on love; bond and build beautiful memories. She soaked up every minute of her remaining time with love for her daughter, family, friends and pets.
Chasity passed away at the home she shared with her father and Lynn, in the arms of her loving sister Misty. Cancer demands constant medical attention, and Chas felt so blessed her dad and Lynn opened their home, so she could be near the cancer center. Their tireless devotion to keep medical appointments and Lynn’s expertise in the medical field to care for her needs was beyond words for her gratitude. Her Aunt Dixie and Uncle Jim Garland opened their homes to Chas’ family on her mom’s side, so they could spend frequent and long trips with quality time. Chas’ step-mother Barb, and step-brothers Jeremy and Jason, were the cornerstone in building her strong family values. We are beautifully blended families into one-family with our Chasity.
Our family will be announcing a Celebration of Life event in honor of our Chas in the very near future.
