Cheryl Ann Nolan's Obituary
On Friday, December 2nd, 2022, Cheryl Ann Nolan passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones, at the age of sixty-five. Cheryl was a loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a dedicated friend to all. She was born in Corpus Cristis, Texas, to Richard Dale and Carolyn Sue Garrett. Throughout her life, she lived for extended periods in San Diego, California, and Burlington, Vermont. Cheryl is survived by her three siblings: Rick, Caroll, and Osker. She is also survived by her daughter and three sons: Wendy, Tyler, Brandon, and Travis. For those that know her, know that this list could be endless as she was a mother to all.
Cheryl’s life is not measured in awards or degrees, but rather by the people that she made a difference for in their life. She was never concerned about what tangible or monetary items that she had, but instead about the welfare and well-being of those around her. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, a listening ear, or more importantly, a warm meal and a place for many to lay their head at night. She was known to go out of her way if it would bring comfort, joy, and happiness to any stranger or loved one. Cheryl gave even when she had nothing to give and loved to the fullest, especially when people needed it the most.
Cheryl was known for her big heart, giving nature, quick-witted humor, and never-give-up attitude. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. To honor Cheryl’s memory, a celebration of life will be held in San Diego, California at a date and time to be determined in January.
