Chet was a true friend in every sense of the word. Always there to help with any scouting event. My sincere condolences to Chet's wife and family. Our prayers will be for your comfort at this most difficult time. Chet's great influence will live on in the many lives he has touched.
I came to know Chet as we served the young people in the Orem District. He was such a committed man and doing good was what he always desired to do. I asked him to come help me bring back the 50/20 and he was there every year to help every year. I am so sad for his family and I feel sad that I will have to wait some time to enjoy his friendship and kindness again. God Bless his family....I will not forget him and will follow his example of building the youth of America.....Love ya Chet.........
Proud to call Chet "My Friend!" Served on several Wood Badge courses with him. He is a great Wood Badge "Antelope!" Treasure the memories we had and shared. Remembering on night at Wood Badge we had neighboring tents in the staff area. He crawled under the two side by side tents wall and popped his head up by my bunk just say Hi!!!! What a character God speed my friend. You will be missed, but not forgotten!
