Chih Evans' Obituary
Chih Evans, born to Chen Chao-Tsung & Chen Hsu-Chun, in Taiwan on October 10, 1949, peacefully passed away while surrounded by loved ones, on April 9, 2024, at 74. Despite life’s challenges, she radiated warmth and connection, leaving a profound impact on everyone she encountered.
Chih shared a love that transcended words with her beloved husband, Dale, for 40 beautiful years; their bond is a beacon of enduring love. Her devotion to her family knew no bounds, evident in her unwavering love for her daughter Teri, her two grandchildren Taylor & Conner, and her two brothers and one sister.
A viewing to honor Chih’s remarkable life will be held on Sunday, April 21st, from 6-8 pm at Premier Funeral Services, located at 5335 South 1950 West in Roy, Utah.
The funeral service, a celebration of her legacy, will take place on Monday, April 22nd, at 9:30 am at the Ogden Deaf Ward, located at 5640 S 850 E, South Ogden, UT 84405, a place close to her heart.
Following the funeral service, a burial service will be held at 1 pm at the Utah Veterans Cemetery located at 17111 South Camp Williams Road in Bluffdale, Utah.
In this time of mourning, we extend a special thanks to the entire deaf community for their unwavering support and companionship throughout Chih’s life. These gatherings offer solace and an opportunity for all who knew and loved Chih to come together, sharing cherished memories and finding comfort in each other’s embrace. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
