Christine Kendall Elmer
Born July 25, 1950, in Pollock Pines California. Passed away on January 22, 2025, Layton, Utah.
Christine, was adopted at the age of two by Linward Oliver Kendall and Eva Lorraine Kendall of Yuba City California. At the age of eight her family relocated to Auburn, California. Where she lived until she graduated from Placer High School. She went on to Beauty school in Roseville, California. On December 13, 1970, she married Bryan J Elmer in Reno, Nevada. They were later sealed in the Oakland Temple in 1973. They made their home in Sacramento California. They had three children, at the time, in 1978 they moved to Sunset Utah. Where their fourth child was born. This made their family of six complete.
Christine retired from Davis County School District where she held a position at Doxey Elementary serving in food preparation. She loved crafting, she loved to make things for others. She loved gardening, and decorating for the holidays. Christine enjoyed Family! Going to family reunions and spending time with her children and her extended family. She was joyful and loving in every way. She was just the Best!
Christine was proceeded in death by her parents: Linward and Lorraine Kendall, a brother Doug Kendall, sister Jan Malstrom, granddaughter Chante Madill and a grandson JD Madill.
Christine is survived by her soul mate Bryan J Elmer of Sunset Utah, her son Bryan Lin Elmer of Mineville, New York. Daughter Jennifer & Brian Nichols of Garland Utah. Son Kevin & Hillary Elmer of Lowell, Vermont. Daughter Cynthia & Brandon Madill of Mineville, New York, as well as twenty-one grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at the Sunset 5th Ward, 2431 North 250 West, Sunset, Utah where a viewing will be prior to services from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm. Interment will be at the Clearfield City Cemetery.
A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Premier Funeral Services, 5335 South 1950 West, Roy, Utah and at the church prior to services.
