Christine Lynn Morgan's Obituary
Christine Lynn Morgan, 76, of Taylorsville, Utah passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side. Chris was born April 10th, 1949 to Melvin and Jean Kramer.
She was a woman who poured her whole heart into the people she loved. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she carried immense pride in each of them. They were truly the center of her world, and she never missed a chance to celebrate their accomplishments, big or small. She proudly spent years raising one of her grandsons, Triston, creating a bond filled with laughter, lessons, and unconditional love.
She had a bright, spirited personality that made her unforgettable. She loved warm days, blooming flowers, butterflies, and finding the perfect pair of cute sandals. Some of her happiest moments were spent traveling and going on adventures with her husband to see new things and new places. She enjoyed dinner dates and shopping sprees with her friends that usually turned into a little trouble. She also adored the simple comfort of having a Beans & Brews coffee delivered to her while she watched the news or caught up on her favorite soap operas. And in true her fashion, she wasn’t afraid to be a little spicy — she had no problem giving someone the bird when the moment called for it, always with that signature spark that made everyone laugh.
Her kindness, humor, and unapologetic authenticity touched everyone who knew her. She created a life filled with connection, joy, and memories that will be cherished forever.
Chris is survived by her husband of 22 years, Monty; her children, Brent (Shauna), Melonie (Mike), Jim (TaLeah), Mike (Angie), Josh (Jessica); her brother Robert (Nancy), her sister-in-law Pam; her best friend Sally (Scott); 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers David and Craig and sister Carol; sons Nayt and Justin.
Her family wishes to thank the wonderful caregivers at The Legacy House and Health Watch Hospice whose kindness and gentle care brought comfort and joy to her last days.
A celebration of life will be held in Chris’ memory on January 24, from 2:00-4:30PM at the Draper Day Barn, 1166 E Pioneer Rd, Draper, UT 84020.
