Christine Ann Robertson's Obituary
Christine “Chris” Ann Robertson (Walker) passed away peacefully in her home in Layton Utah surrounded by family and friends on Monday August 3, 2015 at the age of 47. Chris is survived by her husband of nine years (together for 15 years) Scott M Robertson of Layton Utah; her sons, Justin DeForest and Danial DeForest both of North Attleboro, Massachusetts; her daughters, Crystal Vanderwood and Emily Conley of Ogden, Utah; her step-son, Jason Robertson of Layton. Utah; her three grandchildren, Felicia Janice, Jayden Chris and Nova-Leigh Ann of Utah; her brother, Ronald Walker of Belmore ,New York; her brother, Michael Walker of Seekonk, Massachusetts; along with many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. Chris is preceded in death by her mother, Janice Marie Newman; her father, Ronald Lee Walker; her mother-in-law, Kathy Robertson; her father-in-law, John (Jack) Robertson. Chris was born on February 11th 1968 in Fort Hood, Texas to Janice Newman and Ronald Walker. Chris graduated from Attleboro High School in 1986. Chris married Scott in 2006. After moving from Attleboro, Massachusetts to Layton, Utah in 2011 Chris began working for Holiday Inn Express in Layton, Utah in the housekeeping department before switching to Night Auditor in 2013. Her children remember her as a strong, kind, gentle, loving mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals. Chris loved spending time with her family. Chris enjoyed camping, bowling, cruising and watching her favorite TV shows like “Criminal minds”. A celebration of her life is scheduled for Friday August 14th at 6:00 PM at our house at 1188 E 2350 N Layton, Utah 84040. The family would like to thank Davis Hospital, Utah Cancer Specialists and Elevation Home Care and Hospice for their efforts/care/and dedication in treating Chris with her 2 plus year fight with metastatic melanoma.
