Christopher Scott Boyd
On June 28, 2021 Chris passed away in his home and was reunited with his daughter, son and brother in heaven. Chris was born on August 12, 1974 in Provo, Utah to Betty Jones and Bill Boyd. He grew up in Pleasant Grove, Ut for majority of his life. Chris was known to be a tender-hearted and caring guy all of his life. He was a protector to those he knew and loved.
Chris was a huge lover of heavy metal music, growing up his all time favorite band was wasp and then grew to love megadeath. He loved to “head bang” and sing into the broom stick while listening to his music. Chris was a jokesters and loved to tease those around him. Chris had many passions; he loved working on cars and had a love for corvettes and hot rods. He loved fishing, swimming, camping, playing darts and lottery tickets. Chris’s most enjoyable passion was searching for gold and using metal detectors to look for treasures. He always looked forward to having his children around as they were the loves of his life. Chris grew up with 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Chris was an amazing father, grandpa, son, brother, uncle and grandson.
He is survived by his children: Whitney Boyd Gonzales (28) , Jade Boyd (17), Peyton and Paisley Boyd Mortensen (12) and Issac Boyd (8) His grand babies: Braylee (9), Tyce (8), Nikiah (7) and Jayla (6). His parents Bill and Mel Boyd and Betty and Dave Jones. His Grandmother; Karine Bancroft His Siblings; John Boyd (Sherry), Jennifer Christen (Joe), Dennis Boyd (Andrea), Clayton Boyd (Mindy), David Jones, Sarah Kirk (Jd), Angela Boyd, Daniel “Bucky” Jones (shanda) and he leaves behind many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews that will miss him so much. He is preceded in death by, his Daughter Makia Love Boyd, son William Christopher Boyd and brother Brandon Michael Boyd.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the Orem City Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 828 West 1600 North, Orem, UT.
