Christopher William Leatherbury, 76, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2024 at McKay Dee hospital.
Born on March 6, 1948, Salt Lake City, Utah to Jack and Gayle Leatherbury. Chris graduated from Olympus High School. He was a successful business owner incorporating Utah Sprinklers in 1975. He also rodeoed for 25 years in the saddle bronc event, retiring in 1988.
Chris was known for his dedication to work and self discipline. He prided himself to be the best he could be. He was devoted to his customers.
Chris was known for his humor, kindness, generosity and love of cooking and photography. He was a world class storyteller. He was passionate about community service and spent many years volunteering for a variety of causes including the Salt Lake Mission. His dedication to helping those in need will leave a lasting impact on all that knew him.
