Christopher Deyne "Sid" Stocker's Obituary
Christopher Deyne "Sid" Stocker of Ogden, Utah, left this world a duller place on may 24th, 2013. Charging through life at the beat of his own drum, he left doing exactly what he loved to do. He was born march 24, 1989.
His well known love affair with the infamous "Rita", took the backseat only to his true love, Afton (Tracy) Stocker and their two beautiful children. Devoted to each other since the first day they met, June 8, 2005, they were first blessed with their daughter, Addelyn Marie Stocker, born January 1, 2009 and most recently their son, Knoxton Deyne Stocker, born December 18, 2011.
Deyne owned and operated the Ogden based SIDS Speed Shop, earning his degree as Harley Technician from the Motorcycle Mechanic Institute in 2010, an accomplished motorcycle mechanic and bike builder, his life was filled with nothing short of extraordinary. A son, a brother, a friend. Above all, a loving husband and father. Always moving forward, or in whatever direction he deemed necessary, taking chances and the world by the throat, daring to be challenged and never swaying. His infectious personality, loved by many, hated by few(or many) and his insatiable lust for life left most in awe, living his life the way most people wish they could. His unparallelled work ethic, love and generosity are all exemplary traits we should strive to mimic. The impression he has left on our hearts and souls is a blessing and will never be taken for granted. The immense void where he once stood will be impossible to fill but will act as a constant reminder to us all, dream big and live life to the fullest. "Forever Two Wheels"
Deyne is survived by his parents Danice (Eric) Zulliger and Troy (Kassie) Stocker, a sister Jadyn Stocker, a brother Rylan Stocker, sister Reece Zulliger. Grandmother Christiane Miller, Grandfather Thomas Kidd. A very large loving extended family. Deyne has two uncles Jared and Austen Miller and cousin Gavan Kidd whom he considered brothers.
Friends and family are invited to remember Deyne on Wednesday, May 29 from 6-8 at his mother Danice's home located at 2144 N 200 E North Ogden.
A celebration of Deyne's life will be held Saturday, June 1, 3 p.m. at SIDS Speed Shop 341 E 35th Street Ogden, UT.
