Clair Dean Avery's Obituary
Clair Dean Avery passed away on September 1, 2022 in his home, surrounded by many who loved him. Clair will be remembered as a hard worker, a Korean War veteran, devoted member of the LDS Faith, and dedicated family man, but those who knew him best will also remember his love of music, his gentleness towards small children and animals, and the way his bright blue eyes lit up when we’d make him laugh. He will live on in the hearts of his wife, Carma Avery, his children Lloyd (Carol) Avery, Donna Avery Hausner, and Paula (John) Oakley, as well as the grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will never forget the songs, life lessons, and love he gave them. The family would like to thank the Enhabit hospice nurses and aides for the love and care they showed all of us.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 10th, 11:00 AM at the Edgemont 11th Ward, 3050 N. Mojave Lane, Provo, with a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment, East Lawn Memorial Park.
