Clarence "Bub" William Underwood's Obituary
Clarence William Underwood “Bub”, 67, passed away peacefully Monday, December 19, 2022, in SLC Utah. He was born to Clarence and Esther Underwood in Spanish Fork, Utah December 25th 1954.
Bub was born in Spanish Fork & considered a miracle after 10 years of trying. As a child they moved to the Sugarhouse area where he grew up in the quaint Chadwick street home. He met and married his high school sweetheart “Debbie” after graduating from Highland High and they quickly started their family. He Graduated with his B.A. in Business from the University of Utah and went on to have a successful career in the hotel and hospitality industry managing some of the most illustrious hotels in Park City. Bub was a close friend to many, more than can be memorialized here. He considered everyone he was close to as family and helped teach his children the same values.
Bub is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Esther Underwood; his sister, Mary Smith and her spouse Jeff Smith; his niece Jessica Lynn Quick; his ex-wife, Debra Kay Bishop Underwood; and partner Eddie Cabey; He is survived by his children, Oly Underwood and spouse Molly Underwood; David Underwood and spouse Natalie Underwood; his sister, Lynnea Hardy her husband Brett Hardy; his brother Karl Underwood and spouse Teri Lerma; his sister Mira Mayo; his ex-partner Rodger Griffin; 9 grandchildren, Austin and Kianna Underwood, Rylee and Parker Berry, Brysan Underwood, and newly reunited Savannah Tew, Lincoln Underwood, Olyvia Underwood, Sloan Underwood; and one great grandchild due in January 2023 Harvey Berry; and countless nieces and nephews.
Bub will be buried at Elysian Burial Gardens in SLC UT, next to the mother of his children. A Viewing Memorial will be held at Premier Funeral Services in Midvale, UT 67 E. 8000 So. On Wednesday, December 28th from 10 am. to 11:30 am with a graveside dedication at 12 pm. At Elysian Gardens 1075 E 4580 So. in SLC.
