Clate Dee "Pee Dee" Leavitt's Obituary
Pee Dee Leavitt, age 88, of Salt Lake City, Utah passed away December 8th 2023.
She is survived by a loving son, (Tommy) Thomas, two grandchildren, Sonha and Joshua, and countless friends and family.
Pee Dee was born in West Virginia and grew up in Southern California. In 1976 she and her family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she enjoyed many years working in the entertainment industry. She worked very closely with many celebrities such as Kenny Rogers, The Gatlin Brothers, and many more. She and her beloved Buddy retired to Lauglin, Nevada where she was politically active in her community. In 2015 Pee Dee moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to be closer to family. Due to health concerns and memory issues, Pee Dee moved to a nursing home in Salt Lake to receive the care she needed.
Pee Dee loved recanting her life experiences to friends and family. Whenever possible, she adored traveling with those she loved, and exploring the great outdoors. She had an incredible ability to make friends easily wherever she went. She will greatly missed, but more than that, she will be greatly appreciated.
