Claudia died Sunday November 21, 2010 at her home of sudden and unexpected heart failure. She was a sweetheart and caregiver to many and especially to her husband Jacob George Vigil. Claudia was born on June 18, 1955 in Ogden to B Read Obituary

As with many, I loved Claudia for everything she was. I met her my first trip to Ogden in March 1985 - knowing her for over 25 years. She helped Teresa get a plane ticket so I could come and visit - I was a college student then. The eight years I lived in Ogden (1988-1995)were filled with MANY great moments with Claudia. The most fondest ones were when she would come into the house on Grant Ave in order to get out of the heat and stand in front of the swamp cooler. I am happy Teresa and she got to spend some time together over the past two months. A finer friend one could never ask for and I am saddened.
My deepest sympathy to Claudia's family. I grew up with Claudia and we were very close throughout junior high and high school. I considered Claudia my best friend as a teen, and I was deeply saddened when I learned of her passing. We lost contact after high school. My deepest sympathy to all of Claudia's family. Claudia was so much more than a friend to me, we were more like sisters, we grew up together. And 40+ years of memories cannot be expressed in one card or interaction with any one person. I will always have Claudia with me in my heart! I do feel she is finally at peace and out of pain.
