Clifton Foster Marsh's Obituary
Clifton Foster Marsh, 64, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Central Utah Veterans Home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born December 6, 1949 to Richard and Janet Marsh, in Payson Utah.
Cliff was the second oldest of five siblings, who grew up in Mapleton, Utah. He graduated from Springville High School. He married Jodi Dean in 1971 and later divorced. Cliff served his country in the United States Army from 1969 to 1975, and then retired from Geneva Steel, after 29 years. Cliff loved to golf! In his retirement years, he golfed almost every day. Cliff also enjoyed working on all kinds of cars and trucks. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with, and teasing his six grandchildren. Cliff was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who always put the needs of others before his own.
He is survived by his loving children: Chancy (Shanel) Marsh and Kippy (Wade) Bishop; and six beautiful grandchildren: Turray, Jace, Drayton, Kaylee, Tavis and Darius; four siblings: Kelly (Brenda)Marsh, Jolene Bauer, Chris (Tim) Parker and Franky (Bruce) Stika. He is preceded in death by his parents: Richard Marsh, Kelly and Janet Robertson and a brother in-law: Steve Bauer.
A special thanks to all the Doctors, RN’s, CNA’s, Social Workers and housekeepers on Community 800 at the Veterans Home, the George E. Wahlen Veterans Hospital and Harmony Home Health and Hospice. We thank you for all the love and care that you gave Cliff during his stay.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11am, Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery, 1997 South 400 East, with full military rights.
