Clinton Paul Barlow's Obituary
Clinton Paul Barlow, 83, passed away on February 27, 2024, in Orem, UT. He was born in Santa Monica, CA to Edmund & Evva Barlow on August 12, 1940. He passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Paul is survived by his wife, Amy Lorene, and their children: Susan Hyatt, Eddie Barlow, Rachel Barlow, Kristen Schnurman, William Barlow, and Catherine Hartman. He is also survived by his brothers Lynn, Glenn, and Joel Barlow. Paul has 23 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Paula Durgin, father Edmund Garrett Barlow, mother Evva Burnham Barlow, and brothers James and Norman Barlow and sister Maria Smith.
Paul loved learning. He studied history as an undergrad at BYU and received a Bachelor of Science. He went on to study organizational behavior and management, for which he received a Masters degree and Ph.D. His love of learning never stopped and he became a master teacher. His favorite topic to teach was the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Paul was known for his love of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his love for his family. He loved serving in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the many callings he held and felt it a privilege to serve. He will be remembered as a gentle and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will also be remembered as a dedicated teacher and friend.
Funeral Services will be held on March 7, 2024, followed by interment at Orem City Cemetery.
