Clive Emerson Thorpe's Obituary
Clive Emerson Thorpe, 68, passed away on February 12, 2023 at the University of Utah
Hospital. He was born on August 16, 1954 to Harold Emerson Thorpe and Dorothy Bills Thorpe, who preceded him in death.
Clive graduated from Skyline High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. He enjoyed hunting
and fishing, but this became limited in his later years due to chronic back and hip pain. Starting
as a maintenance worker at Walmart, he soon rose in the ranks to become the maintenance
supervisor. He loved to fix things and make them work.
Clive is survived by his sister, Karen Thorpe Valentine (John), his sons Judd Collard (Starla) and Kevin Collard, and granddaughter Italia.
Clive will be interned at the Riverton Cemetery located at 1500 West 13200 South, Riverton, Utah on Saturday March 11, 2023 with his parents. A small graveside service and remembrance will be held, starting at 3:00 p.m.
