Cody Leon Anderson's Obituary
Cody Leon Anderson was born May 6, 1985, in Glendale, California. He was a beloved son, brother, father, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Cody was a patriot to his country, having served in both the United States Marines and US Army. He was a gifted writer and artist. He loved to cook and loved to make people laugh with his infectious humor. His smile was second to none. He had a love for music and singing, soccer, history, fishing, camping, people and family. He had a thirst for understanding life, philosophy and the history of this world. Cody entered his eternal rest on September 2, 2021. He is survived by his two children Adilyn and Leon whom he loved dearly and were his pride and joy; parents John and Dana Anderson; three siblings Kyle (Sarah) Anderson, Jenna (Brock) Royall and Haley (Ryan) Smith; and grandparents Amy Chambers, and Dolores and Bill Stromblad. He is preceded in death by grandfathers W. Dane Kimmell and A. Rex Anderson. He will be sorely missed by all who love him. We look forward to the day when he will embrace each of us once again with his amazing “Cody Bear” hugs and united as an eternal family. Rest in God's hands.
Services will be held Thursday, September 9th, 11:00 AM at the Eden Ward LDS Chapel, 6500 E 1900 No, Eden, Utah. Interment will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery, Eden, Utah.
