Coleen McKee Thompsen's Obituary
Coleen McKee Thompsen, 64 died Monday November 4, 2019 from complications related to cancer. She was born November 6, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Randy H. Thompsen in May of 1976, later divorcing in 2010.
She leaves behind her daughter Jamie (Mike) LaRose and her grandchildren Hadley and Jacob LaRose. Her sisters Kathleen (Lynn-deceased) Evans, Charleen (David) Davis. Her brothers Mike (Maxine) Mckee, Steve (Kathy-divorced) Mckee, Rex (Laura) Mckee. Tons of nieces and nephews,that she loved with all of her heart.
She was preceeded in death by her parents Minnie and Norman Mckee and her brother Rohn (Ondrea)Mckee.
As a member of the “Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints” she served many callings and enjoyed going to the temple. She loved golfing, sewing and reading. Her favorite thing was spending time with her family, especially Hadley and Jake.
Coleen, was a hard worker and after graduating from Bingham High School in 1973 started a career working in document control where she worked for the next 15 years. She later started a huge document conversion for America First Credit Union working there for the next 20 years.
A viewing will be held at Premier Funeral Home, 5335 South 1950 West, Roy, UT, on Friday November 8th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Interment-graveside will follow Friday 12:30pm at the Garland Cemetery- W 13600 N Garland, UT.
