Colleen Ann Beynon's Obituary
Colleen Ann Beynon, 69, passed away peacefully on 29 April 2025, surrounded by family. She was born on 27 July 1955, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Ernest Boudreaux and Roberta Ciarletta. Colleen lived a life of quiet strength, deep faith, and loving service.
She shared 26 cherished years with her husband, Troy R. Beynon. Colleen attended the University of Utah for a time and remained a lifelong basketball fan. She found joy in creativity—especially sewing, quilting, and diamond art—and worked for many years as a seamstress for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, generously sharing her talents.
Her Church service included leadership in the Stake Relief Society Presidency, as well as in the Ward Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary Presidencies. She also completed two service missions—one at the Bishop’s Storehouse in Layton and another at the FamilySearch Center in Salt Lake City. Colleen lived the Savior’s command to love and serve others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Boudreaux and Roberta Ciarletta; her sister Sharon Boudreaux; her children Aaron, Jay David (JD), and Tiffany Zabriskie; and four angel babies lost to miscarriage—each remembered with love and never forgotten.
She is survived by her daughters Stacylyn Zabriskie-Culbert (Brian) and Barbara Nicole (Nikki) Bawden; and grandchildren Mekenzie Cordova, Kadin Cordova (father to great-grandson Hunter Cordova), Conner Culbert, Abbel Culbert, Tataum Toney, Owen Bawden, Kambri Bawden, and Orion Wanlass.
She is also survived by her sisters: Tina (Kevin) Liptrot, Patti (Jeff) Hoggan, and Laura (Joe) Jenson—the Bagshaw sisters, with whom she shared many meaningful memories and connections throughout her life.
The family thanks Lewis Peak Clinic and Independence Home Health & Hospice for their exceptional care, which brought great comfort to Colleen, Troy, and loved ones.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, 17 May 2025, at 10:00 am at 1401 E South Weber Dr., South Weber, UT 84405.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
