Connie Jean Housel Bacon Keith's Obituary
Connie was sunshine. She brought light, life, and warmth into her relationships, her work, and her life. She was loyal, meticulous, intelligent, fun, funny, beautiful, free, and everything in between. She was not one to miss out on anything, and wanted to experience everything good that life had to offer.
Connie was one of the most compassionate, and caring people, and she spent so much of her life caring for, and helping others. What held a particular soft spot in Connie’s heart, were children. She saw the beauty in each child, appreciated their talents and gifts (and didn’t hesitate to share it), and valued the person that they were inside.
She could see the possibility and potential in everything and everyone; from a piece of ribbon, to a box of magnets, there was always a potential that something could reach. She applied this same view to the people that she knew and loved. Connie would be your biggest cheerleader, and give you her greatest votes of confidence. She could see you for what you could become, and did not judge you for what you were not. She genuinely meant what she said, and truly viewed people this way.
At the center of her heart–her truest love–was her boys. They were her world. Connie lost her baby Kyle to SIDS, and one light that follows Connie’s passing, is the chance that she now gets to hold him again.
While we grieve the loss of Connie with broken hearts, the life she lived leaves us behind with a whisper of light, and a touch of warmth that will be felt forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
Connie is preceded in death by her infant son Kyle Keith and her father Melvin T Housel. She is survived by her two sons, James Bacon, Jeffery Keith, her mother Karen C. March and five siblings, Alisa (Bill) Muir, Dawna (Roger)Marett, Joan Ottley, Daniel (Wendy)Bunnell and Jennifer (Kevin)Kimick.
