Coraleen May (Christensen) Winkley's Obituary
Coraleen May Christensen Winkley, born March 20th, 1936, in Chesterfield, Idaho, passed away peacefully on October 7th, 2025. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Wyman Dee Winkley. Surviving family members include her children: daughter Annette Lee Winkley Miller and son-in-law James Edward Miller of Salt Lake, son Larry Dean Winkley, daughter Sherri LaRue Winkley of Salt Lake, and daughter Arminda (Dang) Chanthasack of Salt Lake. She is also survived by her grandsons James Andre Miller, JaVontae Alexzander Miller, and Jayden Anjel Miller, and great-granddaughter Imelda Amari Miller, along with numerous other family members and friends. Additional family members we would like to recognize are Louise (David) Williams of Florida, Robert Andre Miller of Oakland Ca., Travistine (Arthur) Owens of Liberal KS, James Edward (Annette Lee) Miller, Bobby Lee Miller of Salt Lake, Utah, Mickey Lee Miller of Liberal, KS, Larry Joe Miller of Liberal KS, Rita Mae Sheldon of Liberal KS, Allen Hicks of Salt Lake, Utah, Wanda Jean (Virgil Lee) Lucas, Sheila Dianne Lucas of Salt Lake, Utah.
She was a compassionate and kind-hearted individual renowned for her homemade bread, scones, spaghetti, and hash browns. Her passing will be deeply felt by all who knew her. Services will be held at Premier Funeral Home on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, at 3pm with a viewing beginning at 2pm pm, located at 67 East 8000 South, Midvale, Utah 84047. Gone but never forgotten, may she rest in peace. A special thanks to Virgil Lee Lucas for his amazing care over the years.
