I first met Craig and Karen when I was dating Bill. Corpon. I can't think of Craig without thinking of Karen. We hit it off immediately and knew I had met lifelong friends. I feel so badly I did not know about his funeral as I would have been there.

I loved Craig - his kind, loving nature, his laugh and when he would tell a joke or tease you. No matter the time that passed since we had seen each other, I always felt comfortable with them. His love of fishing, camping was contagious. I loved to hear his stories

My heart aches for Karen and his kids.

One of my best memory’s of Craig was how kind and patient he was. One time me and his son Eric took Craig’s truck up elk hunting in price , so me and Eric loaded up truck and trailer and headed to price , so me and Eric got to our hunting spot and took a road up the canyon we probably shouldn’t have lol, well after couple days it starts to rain got really muddy and slippery and only way to get down off the mountain was to put the driver side tires in a runoff ditch on the side of the road , that would keep us from sliding and going off edge on the other side of the road, needlessly to say we stretch and scraped the driver side of the truck really bad dents from rocks , anyway when we made it down , we called craig told him what had happened , so came up and brought us some tire chains and made sure we were safe , didn’t get mad or upset at us , just wanted to make sure we were safe

I have always felt like a part of the family, that is the way the Mortensen family treated everyone. Have known they all to be kind and lovely to all. But, also big teases. May your memories be sweet and ever lasting. It is so wonderful that we know Heavenly Father's plan and we will be able to be with them again, if we do our part. I am going to miss my big brother one of my funny memories of him was when I pierced my ears when I was younger and he made the comment if God wanted holes in those ears he would’ve put them there he always look out after us who is always there for us who’s kind heart is going to miss terribly I love you brother I will always remember the fun memories of youAnd your gentle kind ways I love you
