Craig Kenneth Ward's Obituary
Craig Kennith Ward 50, passed away on June 8, 2025 at his home in Riverton, Utah. Craig was born August 18, 1974 in Provo, Utah to Robert and Gayla Ward. He grew up in Orem Utah where he attended Vinyard Elementary and MountainView High School. He also attended Utah Valley Technical School in Orem. Craig loved baseball and played on many teams, he switched to softball as he got older until he hurt his knee.
He married Adrienne Thacker on January 23rd 1998 and they had their son Chase. They moved to Kentucky and later divorced.
When Craig was in Middle school he started driving RC cars and later was sponsored by Losee RC car company he traveled around the United States completing at different race tracks and also competed in Japan. He loved driving RC cars and participated in racing at the race tracks in Utah for thirty years. Craig would take his son, Chase, and nephew Jordan racing rc cars at the local tracks.
He started installing carpet with his Grandfather Vern Ward when he was 17, he later learned to install hardwood and other hard surfaces.
Craig is survived by his parents, Robert and Gayla Ward; his brother, Ryan Ward and his three sisters, Laura (Dameon) Novosel; Lisa Ward , Leanna (Darin) Hansen , his son Chase Kennith Ward and two nephews and seven nieces.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Robert and Gayla Ward, Saturday, June 14 at 4:00-6:00 13347 Wrangler Circle, Draper, Utah.
