Cynthia VanderMeyden Dials' Obituary
Cynthia (Cindy) VanderMeyden Dials was born August 30th, 1962 to Ardell (Reid) and Howard VanderMeyden. She was the youngest of six children; Craig (Rosemary) VanderMeyden, Debra Rigby, Kim (Mickie) VanderMeyden, Lance VanderMeyden, and Karen Dall. She graduated from Kearns High School in 1980, and worked for some time as a beautician after her graduation from beauty school.
Cindy gave birth to five children from her first Marriage; Jamyn Scharp, Aislinn (Jack) McDaniel, Kayla (Tyler) Pulver, Erin Scharp, and Taylor (Casey) Scharp. Through these children, she had ten beautiful grandchildren; Baylee, Darien, Kira, Ethan, Collin, Axton, Brian, Seth, Brecklyn, and Dylan.
Cindy reconnected with her high school sweetheart, Darren Dials, and the two married February 7th, 2001. The two remained married for twenty two years, until she ultimately passed away.
She is survived by her husband, four of her children, all of her grandchildren, and three of her siblings. She is preceded in death by her brother and sister (Lance and Karen), her daughter (Erin), and both of her loving parents.
A memorial for Cynthia will be held on Saturday, July 30th from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at 1148 west 500 north in Salt Lake City.
