Cynthia "Cindi" Pierson's Obituary
Cindi Pierson, 55 died February 8, 2022, on her birthday, surrounded by family and close friends after a 4-year battle with ALS.
Born February 8, 1967, in Provo, UT to Gary C Carter and Claudia B Carter. She attended Bingham High School in South Jordan UT, where she met and married Charles N Pierson III, November 25, 1986 in the Jordan River Temple.
Cindi was the oldest of 7 girls and an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings but Young Women’s being her favorite. She worked for more than 32 years in the dental field starting out as a Dental Assistant and finishing her career as the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Roseman Dental University.
She is survived by her husband Chief Charlie Pierson of South Jordan, her son Connor Pierson of South Jordan. Mother Claudia Carter of Herriman UT. Her sisters; Lisa Romero (Victor) of Taylorsville UT; Julie Moullet (Jim) Omaha Nebraska; Christy Holt (Tracy) South Jordan UT; Stacie Carter (Justin Nichols) Pocatello ID; Carol Watson (Joe) Bluffdale UT and Andrea Cook (Cody Wall) of Taylorsville UT. She is also survived by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lynn and Gloria Davis of Saint George UT. Brother in Laws; Stephen Pierson, and Matthew Davis (Amber). As well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine J Pierson, her father Gary C Carter and all 4 of her grandparents.
We would like to thank the nurses and Doctors from the University of Utah hospital in helping make her last days peaceful and comfortable.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday February 16, 2022, at 11:00am in the Founders Park 1st Ward 11685 Kestrel Rise Rd, South Jordan UT 84009. There will be a viewing before the Services from 9:30am – 10:45 am. Interment will be at Camp Williams.
