D. Edward "Ed" Holt's Obituary
David Edward Holt, born November 30, 1936 to Ellott David Holt and Clarice Larson Holt. Died April 30, 2015. Graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S.M.E and a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering. Married Jeannette Beales July 14, 1961 in the Salt Lake Temple. Early in their marriage they moved to Holladay where they lived for 52 years and raised 3 daughters; Jeanne-Marie (Michelle), Rebecca, and Tiffany. He was a faithful member of the L.D.S. Church and served 8 years as an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake Temple.
He is survived by his wife and daughters, brother, Douglas, and sister, Elizabeth, 11 beloved grandchildren, and 4½ very beloved great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Holladay 27th Ward, 5450 Holladay Blvd, Holladay, UT. where friends may call Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45-10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Elysian Burial Gardens.
