Scott has always been a gracious gentleman ... except one time. I was a roommate with his first wife, Fredi when they were dating. I was home alone & ran in the kitchen to grab something & I was not totally dressed (like probably naked) and all of a sudden the front door starts opening. I was shocked & panicked since it was much earlier then they were expected to be home. I opened the refrigerator door & jumped behind it right before Scott & Fredi walked in. Scott's eyes lit up with his famous twinkle ... he knew he had me in a difficult position & he was going to play it for all he could. He refused to leave so I could make my escape. I begged & begged & he refused for about 10 minutes until I was "well chilled" & he had many laughs & then the consummate gentleman returned. He left so I could escape. But ... he never let me forget it! He brought it up & we laughed about it even decades later when I ran into him while visiting in Utah. How's that for a memory? I will never forget!!! Scott is an awesome person & I love him despite my memory. My thoughts & prayers are with all his family as they lay their loving patriarch to rest. 💝
