Dale Elisha Moulton's Obituary
Dale Elisha Moulton died at the age of 84 on April 13, 2020. He was born on October 8, 1935 to Hyrum Chase Moulton and Lillian Cummings Moulton in Heber, Utah. He was the youngest of 11 brothers and sisters, with his sister Mardine Folkerson being the only sibling who has survived him, along with many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his ex-wife, but love of his life and best friend Pat Moulton; loving daughters Suzanne Elkins and husband Randy Elkins, Julie Ramirez and husband Jason Ramirez, and Janet Christensen and husband Tony Christensen; beloved son Christopher Moulton; grandkids LeAnne Done, Alica Eby, Chantee Eby, Kassandra Jackson, Colton Jackson, Tiffany Ricks, Nichole Houser, Lance Wilson, and Patrick Wilson, Kimra Christensen, Michelle Christensen, Michael Christensen, Cristina Christensen, Louie Christensen; and many great-grandchildren. He was a veteran after serving in the Korean War.
He led a very beautiful life, filled with the things he enjoyed doing like fishing, being in the mountains, golfing, and spending time with his family. He was their rock, being exactly what everyone needed, all the time. His biggest achievement, though, was the way he tended to his son, Christopher. He dedicated his entire life to making sure he had the best care he could, and that he knew he was loved. Everyone could tell they were best friends, down to the end. He spent all of his time helping others, helping his family, teaching children and grandchildren important life lessons they remember into their adulthood. He had a kind heart, infectious smile, strong, comforting hug. All worries went away when you were tucked into his embrace. He is sorely missed by every life he touched, which was many.
The family finds comfort in knowing we will see him again soon, when he is resurrected to a paradise earth, where death will be no more, neither will suffering nor pain. (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:3, 4) He is in God’s memory, the safest place to be. Toward the end of his life, Dale appreciated these spiritual truths and found comfort in them, too.
A private memorial service will be held for the family and will be coordinated at a later date. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.premierfuneral.com.
