I wanted to send my deepest condolences to the Clark family; Scott, Terry, LaRae, Pam, Gary, and Chris after just viewing the services (online) for their beloved father. The services touched my heart deeply. My family lived two doors down from the Clark family when they moved to San Antonio, Texas. His time in Texas was referenced many times during the service and brought back many memories of the Clark family. I was just a little kid at the time so most of my memories of Mr. Clark were rather limited. The majority of my time was spent playing with their daughter Pam (Clark-Jones). I remember Mr. Clark as a tall man; from the perspective of my young 5 year old self. But as the years passed being neighbors, I remember him as being a calm and quiet man who was very fit and active. I can say he was a man of strength. There was strength in the marriage with Mrs. Clark, strength in his beliefs in the Mormon Church, strength in their extraordinary parenting of their children demonstrating and teaching good morals and values. As referenced in the services…he did “the right things” in life and because of his many strengths they were a “solid” family; one I am so grateful for being able to share my life with during their “Texas” time. As a young child it was very sad to see them leave Texas and return to Utah, but in hindsight, with age, I completely understanding the need to return to his “home” to continue to raise a family. And now in the end I believe as do others that he is now “home” eternally. Rest In Peace, Mr. Clark. Y’all are in my thoughts and prayers. Mary Boehm Hons
