Dan Craig Player's Obituary
Dan Craig Player
1968 - 2017
Our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, Dan Craig Player, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday July 16, 2017. Dan was born on December 12, 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Craig and Lynnette Player. As the second of three sons, he quickly fell into his role as the rambunctious one, and eventually the boisterous, bright blue-eyed man everyone knew and loved. Anyone who was fortunate enough to know Dan was the recipient of his devotion, humor, and fun-loving spirit. Dan graduated from Taylorsville High School in 1987. His love for painting and knack for working with his hands led him into a career of auto body and painting cars, where he worked at Brashers/Adesa Auto Auction in the auto body and paint shop for 28 years. Dan married the love of his life and best friend, Wendy Davis, on June 10, 1995. They created a beautiful love story for 24 years. Together they raised their two kids, Cody and Baylee, with endless love and support. Dan enjoyed so many things on this earth, but his favorites were camping with his family, hunting, and cracking open a cold one in great company.
He is survived by his wife Wendy, children Cody (19) and Baylee (16), parents Craig and Lynnette, brothers, Shain and Jane (children Alec and Ashley), Rich (children Simrin and Ashton). In- laws Woody and Barb Davis, Mike and Kristin Davis (children Troy and Robby), Chris and April Davis (children Braiden and Gaige). Grandmother in-law Lorrene Davis.
