1962 - 2020
Daniel Joseph Ehresman, 58, of Kearns, Utah passed away at home on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from a heart attack.
Dan was born April 20, 1962 in Richfield, Minnesota and moved to Utah in 1972. He attended St. Vincent de Paul Parish School and then graduated from Judge Memorial Catholic High School in 1980. Dan's interests took him into exploring becoming a DJ and using his mechanical talents in automobile repair. Dan has been working at Sanmina Corp. for nearly 15 years. Dan brought a big heart and a sense of humor to everything he did. He was a big believer in “An Irishman's tease is an Irishman's hug.”
Dan was married to Jessie Cleveland Huston from 1998-2004. Dan's life was forever changed when his son, Cameron Daniel Ehresman was born in 2001. He was a loving, attentive and active father who shared his love of the outdoors and experiencing new things: sailing, camping, target shooting, fishing, and cross-country skiing. Dan and Jessie
were able to remain friends after their divorce and successfully co-parent their son, Cameron.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents Patricia A. and Virgil A. Ehresman. He is survived by his son, Cameron, his ex-wife Jessie and her husband Shawn Huston, and his six siblings and their families: 1. Mary Berger, her husband Jeff, and their children, Meghan and Keith; 2. Beth Ehresman and her children, Lorien and James; 3. Michael Ehresman, his ex-wife Andrea Avery Martin, and their children, Anna Marie, Brian, and Emily; 4. Katie Ehresman and her husband, David Lowe, and their child, Jesse; 5. Anne Ehresman and her husband, Kip Harkness, and their children, Anya and Finn; 6. John Ehresman.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. MST on Monday, July 6th at Premier Funeral Services, 67 East 8000 South Salt Lake City, UT. Attendees must wear a face mask and are encouraged to wear Hawaiian shirts in Dan’s honor. A virtual broadcast of the service will be available at

Interment will be conducted at a future date, to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated. A donation account has been set up through Mountain America Credit Union under the name Daniel Ehresman Memorial Fund. Donations will be given to his son Cameron to help with unexpected expenses.
