Gerry Murphree
I grew up in Baker, I attended 5th through 8th there. I had a few friends in Baker Danny
and Sharron were special to me. I lived in the Log House which is still standing and Danny and Sharron lived in a small house south of Terry's Store so we became close friends. Dan and I built the first Chain Link Fence around the US Fish and Game Hatchery on Snake Creek. Sharron I know you remember you and I going to the Dance at Deep Creek. You asked what the girls wore at the dance and I told you pants , so you dressed in Slacks every other Girl at the dance wore Skirts or dresses. My Bad but the memories
are still there. As we age childhood memories are brought the mind. I asked everyone I knew in Ely if they knew anything about Danny. But to no avail, I am deeply saddened for the loss of my Friend before I could connect with him again.
