Dante Quinn Huerta's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Dante Quinn Huerta, who left us too soon on January 27, 2025. His life was a vibrant tapestry of adventure, carefreeness, and love; however, cut tragically short.
A Celebration of Life service for Dante Huerta will be held at The Hope Community Center in Roy, located at 5051 S 2000 W, Roy, UT 84067, on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Dante was a beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend to many. He is survived by his mother, Karen Vega, his father, Ryan Huerta, and his sisters, Victoria Huerta (Taegan Locher), Savanna Vega (McKennen Bingham), and Cheyenne Maxfield (Jorydon Maxfield). He was also a proud uncle to Everly Krizman, affectionately referred to as "Uncle Tante." Dante's family extended to his maternal grandmother Martha Berglund (Grandma B), his paternal grandparents, Cheryl Lingo (Gima) and Buddy Heise (Papa Buddy) and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who were like siblings to him. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Berglund; his Dad, Robert Vega; and his uncles, Quinn Berglund and Derek Berglund.
Dante loved life and embraced every moment. He found joy in discovering new adventures, experiencing exciting things, and exploring all that the world had to offer. He had a deep love for music and was passionate about finding and sharing new tunes. Dante taught himself to play the guitar, a testament to his dedication and love for music. His dancing and magnetic personality could transform any room into a party, and his energy was contagious.
To know Dante was to love Dante. He was ever devoted and always had the backs of those he loved. Whenever his sisters needed him, he was there as their fiercest protector. His multitude of friends knew they could always count on him to bring joy, laughter, and warmth to their lives. Dante's huge hugs made you feel as strong as he was, and his goofball nature could lift anyone's spirits.
Dante's love for the outdoors and camping brought him closer to nature, where he found peace and adventure. He cherished the moments spent around bonfires, sharing stories and good times with family and friends. His loss leaves a "Dante" sized hole in our hearts, but his memory will forever live on through the countless lives he touched.
We remember Dante not just for the moments we shared, but for the enduring lessons he taught us about living life fully, loving unconditionally, and laughing heartily. We honor his memory by carrying forward the joy he found in every little adventure, the love he gave to all he met, and the laughter that will echo through our memories forever.
We will choose not to see an ending, but a continuation; for Dante's spirit will live on in the mountains he climbed, the untraveled roads he explored, and in every heart he touched. For his family and friends, this is not ‘goodbye’ but rather, we’ll see you in every sunrise we chase, in every laugh we share, and in every act of kindness we extend. We pray Dante’s journey will be as beautiful as the life you lived here with us. Though Dante left this world tragically and unexpectedly, his spirit and the love he shared with us will never be forgotten. Let us remember him as the vibrant, loving, and joyful person he was and carry his memory with us always.
Rest in peace, Dante. You will be missed, but your legacy will live on in our hearts.
