Daren Eric Franz's Obituary
Sandy- Daren Eric Franz died on Saturday April 1, 2017, just prior to his 32nd birthday. Daren was born April 12, 1985 in Sandy, Utah, to Helmut and Ginger Franz.
Daren was a beloved father, son, uncle, brother, and friend. Daren graduated from Hillcrest High School in 2003 and from UVU in 2014 with an electrical automation and robotics technology degree. He was currently employed at Premier Tech in Salt Lake City, Utah. Daren loved spending time with his daughter Zaybri, his dog Scooby and his cat Tigger. He loved riding motorcycles, camping, and hanging out with friends and family. Daren had a big heart and was always willing to serve others.
Daren is survived by his parents; daughter Zaybri; brothers Byron, Jared (Kellie), Travis; sister Karmin (Richard); niece and nephews Isaac, Olivia, Kyle; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 12:00 noon in the Teleford LDS Chapel at 1834 East Creek Road (7995 South) Sandy, Utah 84093. There will be a visitation for friends and family at the church prior to the service from 11:00-11:45 am.
Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 “N” Street, SLC, Utah.
