Darin Arthur Rowe's Obituary
Darin Arthur Rowe, adored husband, father, son, brother, and friend, was greeted into heaven on January 1, 2025, with long and strong hugs given by his parents Kenneth Nolan and Jean Weathers Rowe and his siblings Douglas Rowe and Deborah Ladd, and many other family and friends.
Darin was born in Ogden, Utah on January 9, 1960. He graduated from Roy High School in 1978 and had one daughter in an early relationship (Nadine Clawson). He married Kathie Woodard Rowe in 1988 and together they had Houston, Alix, and Hadin. Darin loved his children more than anything in the world and he lived his life for them. Kathie and Darin did everything together and remained the best of friends until the very end.
Darin loved being around people. He worked as a mechanic at Ray's Muffler in Bountiful for nearly 30 years and enjoyed his job immensely. He relished going to the horse races with his friends and going camping and fishing. He was a great story teller and loved to sit by the campfire and tell his wild stories about him and his crazy friends. He had a lot of stories! Sometimes we would wonder how he was still with us when listening to his stories. He had the best laugh and if he was laughing, everyone was laughing.
Darin's mother Jean passed a week before him on Christmas day. He cared for her from the moment she needed it until the day she passed. He was there for everyone that needed him no matter the time or the place. Darin spent his life thinking of other people. His family and friends meant the world to him. He was the most thoughtful, caring person and everyone knew that about him.
Darin is survived by Kathie Woodward Rowe, and the center of their world, their three children Houston Rowe, Alix Rowe and Hadin Rowe, his daughter, Nadine Clawson and his brothers David Rowe, Dallas Rowe, his brother/best friend Randy Salazar, sister-in-law Geri Rowe, Grandchildren Mercedes, Faitlynn, and Tazyn Linke, and great grandchildren Korie, Quincy, and Baynx, and his dog Ozzy that was by his side any chance he was able to.
Darin made this world a better place and will be dearly missed by so many people.
A service will be held for both Darin and his mother Jean for friends and loved ones on January 11, 2025 from 3:00 p.m until 5:00 p.m at Premier Funeral Services, 5335 S 1950 W, Roy, UT 84067.
