Darlene Taylor's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Darlene Taylor (Schuman) of Fruit Heights Utah, on October 16, 2020 at age 82. Memorial services will be announced later for her internment in her home of birth in central Willamette Valley in Oregon.
Darlene was born March 7, 1938 to William and Vivian Schuman in Shedd, Oregon. She was the youngest of six children, four brothers and one sister. In the late summer of 1956, she met her forever love, Vyrle “Jack” Taylor and they married on February 1, 1957 in Yamhill, Oregon. They were married for 63 years and traveled the United States as a military family, finally settling in Fruit Heights, Utah. Darlene was a dedicated wife and mother, loved volunteer work and loved making new friends wherever life landed her. She also loved collecting keepsakes of various types and you could find many keepsake display cases throughout her home.
Darlene is survived by her dedicated husband of 63 years, Retired Lt Col “Jack” Taylor and her children Jack “Jet” Taylor (wife Connie), Kip Taylor and Sue Stoddard. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
