David Bruce Cox's Obituary
David Bruce Cox, passed away February 15, 2013 quietly at his home with his wife by his side after a long and valiant fight with lung cancer. Dave was born November 16, 1958 at the Cottonwood Maternity Home in Murray, Utah to Richard W. and Charlotte Cox. Dave married his sweetheart Jonelle Walker July 25, 1981 in West Valley City. They adopted a special little boy, Cory David, May 27, 1999 and have lovingly cared for him since then. Dave worked as a painter and did beautiful texturing. He was very creative and talented with his hands. He loved tying the flies that he used for his favorite sport – fly fishing. Dave is survived by his wife and son, mother, brothers Phil (Sheri), Jeff (Gerri), Paul (Jana) ad sister Leslie (Rick) Pera, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father. Many thanks to the Utah Hospice Specialist team that lovingly cared for Dave the past few months. Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Granger 15th Ward, 2835 South 2855 West, West Valley City, UT where a viewing will be held from 9:45 to 10:45 am. Interment at the Pleasant Green Cemetery in Magna, UT.
