David Stanley Conger's Obituary
David Stanley Conger, of Orem Utah, passed from this life to the next on, Wednesday, August 16th, 2023, at 70 years of age. He was born July 5, 1953, in Las Vegas Nevada, the 6th of seven children born to Dan & Renza Myers Conger. His siblings are: Ted Conger (deceased), Kathleen Stoker of UT, Joy Fowers (deceased), Jill Lewis of UT, Lorraine Conger UT, and Raymond Conger (Bonnie), of Pennsylvania.
David married Maria Luisa Rendon (a champion wife) on May 24, 2003. He was so proud of this soft spoken, lovely woman. She cared for him tenderly through 6 long months while he was bed ridden. Luisa would like to thank the First Choice Home & Health Hospice family, that were there to support them through the lengthy process of David’s illness. They are angels on earth.
Luisa has one son, Christian Rendon who lives with his wife and four children in Arizona.
David was further blessed with four grown children by a previous marriage; Robby Barlow (deceased); Misty Gonzalas, of Arizona; Dolly Stoner of UT; and Jesse Conger of CA. David was delighted by his many grandchildren.
David’s humor will be missed by many friends and family. It was said that he was a “One line genius”! and “He never took the world seriously.”
The funeral will be on Saturday, August 26, 2023. It will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at: 1051 E. 200 N. Orem, Utah.
A private viewing for family will be held from 9:00-9:30am. All Friends and family please join us from 9:30-10:30am. Following a family prayer, we will gather in the chapel for the funeral service to honor our dear father, brother, husband, and friend, David Stanley Conger.
Interment will be at the Orem City Cemetery the same day.
