David Michael Deelstra N7ISH's Obituary
David Michael Deelstra passed away at his home in Murray, Utah on December 4, 2023 after a year long battle with cancer. He was born on June 30, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah to David Carr and Melba Dawn Deelstra. Dave was the oldest of 9 children.
Dave obtained his amateur radio license in 1986 and has enjoyed communicating with individuals all over the world. His call sign is N7ISH. Dave raced motorcycles in his younger days and had many other hobbies throughout his life.
He is survived by his partner of 40+ years, Cindy McGuire; Cindy’s two daughters and their husbands; four grandchildren and their spouses; three great-grandchildren; four sisters and three brothers. He is proceeded in death by his parents and one brother.
Dave will be remembered and missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
