David Ferrin Griffeth's Obituary
It is with much love and tender emotions that the family of David Ferrin Griffeth (Eagle Mountain, UT) announces his passing at the age of 62 after losing his battle with cancer. He is an incredible Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother and Friend.
David (Dave) was born in Inglewood, California to his parents Ferrin Griffeth and Barbara (Chatterton). He grew up in Hawthorne, California. He attended Hawthorne High school class of 79/80. While attending high school Dave was active running cross country and played basketball with friends. However, most of his focus was on music. He spent endless hours attending concerts, and playing the guitar, bass and drums. Music had a great impact on him throughout his life.
Dave is survived by his wife Krista, his three daughters Carly and her husband Dallin, Shelby and Zoey. Also, his granddaughter Olivia. His father Ferrin Griffeth, his four siblings Larry and his wife Rosie, Karen and her husband Cale, Jeff and his wife Amy, and Brian and his wife Jill. He was preceded in death by his mom Barbara in 2003.
David loved the Lord and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Dave served as a full-time missionary in Massachusetts, Boston Mission. He also served at the church and for a time in the Mt Timpanogas temple. His incredible love for his family, his soft-spoken manner and tender heart will stay in the memories of those who truly knew him.
A viewing will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 11:00 am with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm at 4561 North Buckboard Street, Eagle Mountain, Utah. Interment will be at the Pony Express Memorial Cemetery.
