David Eugene Johnson's Obituary
David Eugene Johnson, age 80, of Roy, Utah, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on March 7, 2025. Born in Castro Valley, California on May 13, 1944, he was the son of Holger and Thore Johnson.
David was a man of many passions, always happiest when outdoors. He loved fishing, boating, hunting, NASCAR, four-wheeling, and camping. A true craftsman, David possessed an extraordinary ability to build anything he set his mind to, taking immense pride in his work. This talent served him well in his professional life, where he spent over forty years in the HVAC industry, forming lasting friendships along the way.
David was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nona, and his sister, Carol Bymaster. He is survived by his children: David, Brett (Beverly), Brian (Paulette), and Annie (Jeff), whom he shared with Judy Henry. He also leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were a constant source of joy in his life.
David’s memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
